Yesterday I captured this beautiful wedding in Richmond/Steveston areas. The ceremony was held in the stunning & historic Minoru Chapel. We then proceeded to walk through Minoru Park to capture some Bride & Groom portraits. After the park we then visited the Historic Britannia Cannery in Steveston! Loved this location - water, old wooden buildings, boardwalks & great weather!
The bride wore a stunning all lace dress - very vintage!
To the bride's surprise her brother flew in from Italy a few days before the wedding to walk her down the isle & to represent her family back home in Italy - how sweet.
Here are a few of my favs from the day:
Her beautiful dress & The Chapel

Bride & Groom Shots - my favs (so far - there's so many & it's hard to choose my favs!)

Congratulations Miriam & Mark!
Thank you for letting me capture this beautiful day.

Build your own wedding packages - jmb Photography Langley BC
It has been a busy few days - I have been creating some new & exciting features for jmb Photography!
I have just unveiled a new & unique pricing structure for my Wedding Photography services. Couples can now build their own packages by selecting the number of hours of coverage needed, albums, prints, books & many more extras! This allows couples to have a package that includes exactly everything they want & need for their wedding without receiving all the unwanted filler items that can bulk up pricing! I am still offering my pre-packaged rates as well for those couples that find them to be suitable to their wants & needs!
I am expanding my Wedding Services as well. I will now be hiring on more Professional Photographers. We will be able to capture more Weddings for those who love our work! We will have 2 very professional teams of photographers available year-round!

Long Overdue!
WOW - I have not been diligent in blogging - although I have been fairly busy meeting with Soon-To-Be-Brides so I am not completely bad!
I am so happy that from June - September I am almost fully booked for Wedding Photography on Saturdays! It's very exciting & I can't wait for the season to start :D The best part is that all the Weddings are in different locations. Some of the locations are Bedford House in Fort Langley, Burnaby Heritage Museum (this one I am really excited about! - I love museums), Stanley Park Pavilion & a private yacht! I'll definitely get some edgy romantic photos from some of these great weddings.
I am also now offering Portrait Photography. I now have a portable studio, so I can come to your home or meet you at a park or beach & capture high quality professional images. I am very excited about doing this because it is basically a trial to lead into a Studio opening in the Langley area. If I receive a good response to my new Portrait services I will be opening a Studio in Langley, BC - so come on people get your Professional Portraits done by jmb Photography, when was the last time you had portraits done?
I've updated my website & added a 'What's New' area - you can find some updates there as well as my AMAZING Special Offers - be sure to check it out! I have also added a Portrait portfolio under the 'Galleries' area.

Week One
So I have now completed One week of the Photo a Day Project!
I'm very happy with the photos I have taken!
Each day I am trying new techniques & tricks to make more creative photos.
This past week I have gotten a part-time job at a local gym working in the Kids Klub in the mornings. This will give me something to do a few days a week in the mornings - I rarely have clients in the mornings so I figured I would put my time to good use!
Right now we are also dealing with the possibility of our home flooding due to lots of rain & all the snow melting! You will see the flooding of a local River ( 3 blocks from my home) in my 6/365 photo. The water there is about 10 - 12 feet deep & has a very strong current. They are closing bridges in the area because the water is getting to the base of the bridges and coming up onto the roads! Hopefully at least one of the bridges remains open or I won't be able to get to my next wedding on the 9th & 10th.
I am really excited for this weekend because I have a 2 day wedding. The ceremony will be held on Friday afternoon & the reception will be held on Saturday evening. I'm sure it will be a great party & celebration because both sides of the family are huge! I will post a few of my favorites here after the wedding - check back on Sunday for the photos :)
